I'm happy to announce my new position as Artist in Residence at the Metropolitan Chorale of Brooklin

Here is the post from their recent announcement:

"Leading up to our fall concert, The Ecstasies Above, on Saturday, November 22 we'd like to introduce you to our amazing artists in residence who will be performing as soloists! First up, baritone Christopher Weigel - after earning an M.M. from New England Conservatory in 2013, immediately following his bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College, he became the music director at two Boston Catholic schools. He teaches general music, piano, and voice to 550 students, 2 children’s choirs, and directs, accompanies, and performs the music programs for school and family liturgy across 3 parishes. Throughout his music education, Christopher has held numerous opera roles, soloed with choirs, accompanied choruses, and recorded original songs. And when he's not doing music in some way, he is busy acting in TV shows and films! Christopher will have the opportunity to share his voice with you in the Serenade to Music by Vaughan Williams, one of his favorite british composers. O'Regan's piece, The Ecstasies Above, will also have Christopher performing as one of the soloists in the beautiful octet. We are thrilled to have Christopher with us this season! Learn more about Christopher at www.ChristopherWeigel.com or at www.metropolitanchorale.org where you can also buy tickets for the concert!"
